Channel Group Gone in 2.5?

Becuase I dont want all these extra channels.

Yes the channel groups are hidden now, so all channels will be shown for selection. This is much easier for a first time user. And I guess normal is a single setup and then you will not look at the channel setup anymore.

If you search a specific channel use the filter at the top of the channel setup.
