Adding additional xml sources

Webpages "http://tvprofil.net/xmltv/" and "http://www.gonix.net/xmltv/" offer xmltv sources for channels not available in TVBrowser. Can they be added?

We have to follow german law. Those channels of gonix that we can use are already in TV-Browser.

Since this "tvprofil" site clearly gives advice on downloading relevant files, is it possible to put manually those files in some place inside TVBrowser folder so that program can read them?

I have a paid subscription to a XMLTV file from TimeForTV Pro (http://dk.timefor.tv/produkter) or in english (http://en.timefor.tv/products).
Is there a way to get this converted to TV-Browser format and loaded ?

I'm not sure if this is completely legal, at least for Germany. It's the huge amount of channels (~ 1,800?) and the fact they display descriptions for German channels online that have to be paid for.

But even if it is legal: One would need an account to implement it in TV-Browser and code has to be written. There's nothing wrong with selling (legal) EPG data, but if they do, I would rather have them using their paid working time to make their product usable, than me using my free time ;-).

Thanx for your swift reply.
But what does it take to convert, code, and load ? Could I do it myself? What format does TV-browser use?

If Timefor.tv was to do the task, what could I tell the to persuade them to it? What info would they need to be able to do it.

The huge number number of channels is world wide, and not only programs available in Denmark. The number of "free" to air is about 60 (that is free to cable, and not subscription channels).

Thanx in advance.

You or they could write a plugin that provides the data to TV-Browser. For an example you could refer to already available working plugins.

http://sourceforge.net/p/tvbrowser/code ... taservice/
http://sourceforge.net/p/tvbrowser/code ... taservice/

You will need to know how to code in Java.
