After Loading BBC data and starting parsing BBC data, an "error" window without any content pops up. No chance to close the window, no chance to continue using TV browser, even no chance to quit.
I even restarted the computer, tried all from new ... no chance.

Some way to stop hanging items might be useful ....

this way I'm just not able any more to use TV browser, because I did set it to automatically load the BBC data

Open the settings.prop (lies in %userprofile%/TV-Browser/VERSION under Windows) with an editor and add a new entry at the bottom:
askForAutoDownload=true

Then TV-Browser should ask before downloading.
