Java Problem?

Okay... I give up... three weeks ago, TV Browser functioned without problems on my iMac with System 10.4.9

Now... the application upon launching gives me this message before crashing:

Uncaught exception in main method:
java.lang.NullPointerException

Cannot launch Java application

Now, I am not much into Java-speak - but - according to Apple I have the most recent version of Java installed and other applications that need Java have - so far - not presented any problems.

So... what gives? Anybody have an idea and can jump in with some advise...

Can you post the complete Error-Message here?

yes... the error message is (word for word)

Uncaught exception in main method:

does that give you a clue?
